This new venture is a product of the growing awareness of two guy’s own mortality . I guess I need to explain the preceding statement . Joey and Andy were talking and discovered they were on the same page with a number of common interests and hobbies . One of those pursuits they had in common was their love for “old stuff “ …antique bottles in particular. Their passion for these glass objects and the associated history involved began in their early teens as they discovered these treasures on creekbanks and shorelines , in old garbage heaps and under long abandoned homes .
Here is where the mortality comes in . There is a 100% chance that they will one day pass into the next world .They assumed and even concluded (maybe without the consultation with their offspring) that their prized possessions will be auctioned off or simply taken to the recycling center when they find themselves in the local nursing facility or lying in state in a church or mortuary .
So they concluded ..”..let’s sell our stuff !”
